  • Yes, the CFSC is required by law for anyone who wants to obtain a Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) for firearms in Canada. Even if you don't plan on owning a firearm, the CFSC provides valuable knowledge and skills for safe firearms handling.

  • The CFSC covers a range of topics, including safe handling, storage, transport, and display of firearms, types of firearms and ammunition, firearms laws and regulations, and shooting techniques.

  • Yes, passing the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is one of the requirements for obtaining a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) for firearms in Canada.

    However, passing the CFSC does not automatically grant you a PAL. You will also need to meet other requirements, such as passing a background check. Once you have met all the requirements and your application has been approved, you will receive a PAL, which allows you to legally own and acquire firearms in Canada.

  • The Minor's license is available to individuals as young as 12 years old, but individuals under the age of 18 must have written consent from their parent or legal guardian.
